Huber was presented with the first-ever and only AAA Five Diamond restaurant award in Michigan and later a AAA Four Diamond award as well. Most recently, Huber was corporate executive chef of the Amway Hotel Corp., which includes the historic Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, JW Marriot, and Courtyard by Marriot in Grand Rapids, Michigan. From there, he worked at many premier establishments, including the Imperial and Bristol Hotel in Vienna, the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino in South Africa, Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in San Francisco. Huber started his career at the age of sixteen as an apprentice at the five-star Elisabeth Park in his homeland of Salzburg, Austria.
